How Long Have You Been at Cognitiv: almost 2 years!

How would you describe your job to someone who doesn't work in your department?

I plan and execute engaging, high-impact events that spotlight innovation and creativity in the adtech industry. Our events team curates experiences designed to educate, inspire, and foster connections among clients and industry leaders while highlighting how our solutions address key challenges like AI adoption, contextual targeting, and the cookieless future.

Please share a bit about your background and how you landed at Cognitv.

My journey started in fashion after college, but I quickly realized it wasn’t the right fit for me. I transitioned into ad tech, beginning with office administration before moving into marketing—thanks to the mentorship of an incredible manager. From there, I honed my event marketing passion, ultimately leading me to Cognitiv. A referral from a friend in the industry made this career move possible, and I can confidently say it has been my best career move to date.

What aspect of Cognitiv makes you proud to work here?

A true investment in culture. Everyone is so supportive and grateful for the hard work that everyone puts in here. I feel incredibly lucky to work amongst such a talented, driven group of people who have become not only colleagues but friends.

Can you share an accomplishment or project that you are most proud of from your time at Cognitiv? Tell us about it.

I am incredibly proud of expanding our signature event, Neural Networking, to a new city this year—Chicago. Watching Cognitiv’s brand shine in a fresh venue, connecting with industry peers in a new market, and spending time with team members I do not see often was a fulfilling experience that reinforced the power of what we do.

Who on #TeamCognitiv inspires you the most, and why?

My amazing boss and mentor, Sarah Kahn, is my biggest inspiration. She is a working mother of two and pours her heart and soul into crafting beautiful events at Cognitiv with me.

What advice would you give someone just starting their career in our industry?

Do not be afraid to ask questions and embrace a continuous learning mindset. Our industry constantly evolves, and staying curious is key to keeping up with the rapid changes.

Describe your ideal weekend.

My ideal weekend would be relaxing on the beach, surrounded by family and close friends.

Let’s end with a fun fact! Tell us something unique about you – maybe your Astrology sign, a talent, favorite vacation spot, etc.

I am a huge Mets fan despite a lifetime of disappointment so far (lol). But with the recent signing of Juan Soto, I’m more optimistic about the Mets’ future than ever. LGM!
